Did you ever wonder where those three photos featured on the Twitter home page came from? Is there a story behind them or are they just stock images. I would hope there was a story since it is always one of these three images that are featured on the Twitter homepage. It’s been like this since their redesign that they’ve been rotating these three photos. You would think they would have a bigger library of images to choose from.
I can see usefulness of the concert picture and it has a little bit of a shelf life but the cricket photo gets me every time. The city balcony is a little rusty now too. So is it just that most people using twitter don’t login from the homepage enough to warrant some new imagery?
I would love to see more of the Discovery feed images get featured here, or at very a least a larger library of stock photos. It would be cool to localize these galleries so when we sign in we see local photos.
Are these images the same for everyone? Does anyone know the story?
