We thought we’d take a stroll through the Latino Blog Directory to try to spot the most creative and recognizable blog logos. To our surprise there were not many blogs sporting logos and were using text based titles instead. So maybe this series will help inspire other blogs to create logos for their blogs. Logos are probably the best part of starting a blog, certainly the most fun. They set the tone for your blog and help readers identify your blog more easily, so Logos are quite important. Here are eight very creative logos we found after browsing the directory.

Thank you for featuring my logo.
I’m not creative enough to make a logo, and I don’t have the budget to pay for one. Whence, I only have text. Good logo choices on this selection.
Appreciate being included! We’re fond of our art director! He also did the logo for our sister site/business, Ella Media (ellamedia.com).
Blogadera, you have learned that compliments bring us all out.
Ya ves?
These all are great, great, great!
Thanks for the Tiki shout out. We love our logo. It was designed by an old friend and my business partner in Los Pollitos Dicen tees, who is a graphic designer and illustrator.
Just sent him the link.
Loving the logos you chose! We are a fairly new blog and I think we have an “OK” logo, but have thought about the idea of revamping. I’m a graphic designer fulltime but for some reason have struggled designing our logo. I’m too close to this project and might have to hire the big guns. Now I’m off to add our blog to the Latino blog directory. Gracias! ~Yvette
Thanks for the shout out. :0)
Tiki Tiki and Modern Mami are my favorites. I have a logo that is really simple and I’ve been thinking about doing something different with it but sticking with the same colors so it’s familiar. Vamos a ver.
It’s all about finding the right font and running with it. the colors don’t much matter because those can always change. choose the right font, first , and then run with it.
Well, the colors are important to me because I think that combination is really familiar to my readers. Anyway, this post motivated me to re-design the logo, which I hadn’t put much effort into. (It was simply the pink “L” against a blue background as you see in my avatar here.)
I’ll still use that simple avatar as well – but here is the new official logo

Latinaish – indeed the color combination is key, everyone needs to have their set color combo as part of the whole brand/identity. I meant more that the font is most important since you can always change the colors for stuff like holidays and things. When you have an outstanding/unique font the color or background can be easily changed without losing your brand….because the font is what makes it your logo. think of google and apple, yea they have their brand color combination but its the font that can be skinned, made different colors, and we still know who those logos belong to.
Have you checked out http://www.lawoman.com ‘s logo??? Pretty awesome! – Created by artist Joshua Petker for lifesytle reporter Suzanne Marques – check it out!
